  so the wts finally got around to writing about him in the november 15, 2010 watchtower.

  if you read about his "sincere interest in others was shown by his deep concern that all be treated fairly and mercifully", you may think they have the wrong person!.

  Driving

  a teenage boy had just passed his driving test and asked his father as to when he could use the family car.. .

  his father said he'd make a deal: 'you bring your grades up from a c to a b average, study your bible a little, and get your hair cut.

  then we'll talk about the car.'.

  Did you swear when you were a JW?

  i have noticed that quite a few people here swear and use profanity.

  an elder once told me this is quite common in the congregations he has been in.

  i was raised in so never allowed to swear and never got into the habit.

  this article to be studied in two weeks time, in paragraph 13, footnote says: "jesus is the mediator of that covenant, not a participant.

  as the mediator, he evidently did not partake of the emblems.".

  (note use of evidently again!).

  Who is Leon Weaver?

  leon weaver gave a talk here in england recently at the east pennines assembly hall.

  he mentioned the 15 july 2010 wt but did not expand on it.

  i had never heard of him but found a photo of him in 2003 yearbook and also noted he was mentioned in coc.

  Are you RANDY?

  why is it that the characters in the convention drama always have a kid called randy?

  he is always the good kid in the illustration and the elders always address him with "hi randy" in cowboy film accent.. he in england randy has sexual connotations and means lustful or promiscuous.

  are kids actually called randy in the us?.

  What ever happened to Douglas Walsh?

  does anyone know what happened to douglas walsh when the society lost the case?

  all the references to the case concentrate on freddie franz and his inabilty to translate a single verse of the bible into hebrew and to grant suiter who let the cat out regarding disfellowshiping and altered doctrine.. walsh, i understand was a pioneer and possibly the congregation servant.

  did he go to prison?
